The Spitfire MK II Plate Carrier from Direct Action is the latest modification of a popular tactical vest, developed based on feedback and suggestions from professional users. The result of this evolution is a lighter and more versatile platform that meets the high demands of this type of equipment. The Direct Action Spitfire MK II is a Plate Carrier vest constructed from laser-cut Cordura and softshell material. Its modern, modular design, combined with the highest manufacturing standards, ensures both durability against mechanical damage and full comfort during use. The use of laser-cut Cordura technology has significantly reduced the vest's weight while maintaining the consistency of the camouflage. The vest consists of two panels – front and back – connected and adjustable through velcro straps on the harness. The Spitfire Plate Carrier is available in three sizes, each adapted to carry SAPI/ESAPI ballistic inserts, secured in two bottom-fastened pockets with velcro. The internal structure of the Spitfire is lined with softshell material, and four longitudinal velcro straps allow for the optional attachment of soft spacer inserts. The front panel features a spacious velcro area for patches or infrared identifiers. Additionally, adjustable loops for radio cables or hydration system tubes are placed on both sides of the front panel. In the MK II version, a simple Cummerbund belt made of wide and elastic tape is used. The manufacturer offers three other belt types, providing users with the option to customize the vest according to their preferences. Direct Action Spitfire Plate Carrier MK II incorporates several innovative solutions, allowing for the customization of the vest to meet diverse user needs. On the front of the vest, there is a soft material and two buckles secured with elastic material for attaching panels with magazine pouches. On the back, there is an extensive velcro panel and quick-release zippers on the sides, designed for attaching a backpack or Spitfire Assault Panel module. Additionally, the vest can be equipped with a quick-release system, enabling the rapid removal of the entire setup in emergency situations. It is recommended to clean the product according to the manufacturer's instructions, using Cordura cleaning and care products, with a cleaning temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. Alternatively, a damp sponge or Cordura cleaning agents can be used instead of washing. NOTE: To fully functionalize the vest, it is necessary to purchase both the front and back panels. Most panels and accessories from the older generation will fit the new version of the vest.
