Claymore Bag - Cordura® by Helikon-Tex is a versatile, one-day tactical shoulder bag. Its design is inspired by the bag used by the US Army since the 1960s to carry the M18A1 anti-personnel mine known as Claymore. However, our version of the Claymore bag is a much more versatile product, perfect not only for bushcraft and hiking but also for other outdoor and urban activities. Firearm enthusiasts will also appreciate its universal flat pockets, which fit AR/AK magazines perfectly. The use of Cordura® 500D significantly increases the durability of the Claymore bag, making it highly resistant to abrasions. You can confidently take it to the city and use it daily, for work or at the university. This bag is also an excellent tactical tool, ensuring the safety of your equipment even in challenging terrains such as dense forests or rocky areas. The Velcro and buckles closures secure your belongings in place. To maximize the potential of the Claymore bag, we equipped it with fourteen pockets. This makes it suitable as a "go bag," accommodating spare ammunition, a canteen, and a lightweight jacket like the Windrunner or Tramontane. For those who always want to be prepared for various situations, the Claymore bag can also serve as a larger EDC organizer, holding items such as a liter bottle, a folding saw, a small ax, and more. Our Claymore bag complements our range, bridging the gap between the eight-liter Haversack bag and the less capacious two-and-a-half-liter Essential Kit Bag. In emergency situations when time is of the essence, easy access to the external pockets is provided. At the front of the bag, two large sewn-on pockets are secured with Velcro and buckles. Each of them contains two flat pockets, perfectly sized for AR/AK magazines. To make the most of the space, we also added three pockets to the back panel of the bag. In total, you have nine pockets at your disposal, including seven flat ones and two sewn-on pockets. Another advantage is the rectangular partition inside the bag, closed with a zipper. It divides into four flat pockets and open space, ideal for a notepad or tablet. Additionally, there is a zippered pocket on the back panel for valuable items such as secured documents or money. In total, there are five pockets and space between them, allowing you to organize your gear efficiently. Loops for keys and small items provide quick and easy access to these items. The history of the M7 Bandolier bag used by the US Army during the Vietnam War served as an inspiration for the Claymore bag. Initially used to carry the M18A1 anti-personnel mine, over time, it became a popular element of soldiers' equipment and was used even after their service. Our Claymore bag is a civilian version of this classic military bag, adapted for various uses and perfect for everyday use.
