Helikon-Tex Raid Shirt - Available in Multiple Variants

The Raid shirt from Helikon-Tex is a modern version of classic tactical clothing. It is ideal for operations in both field and urban environments. It can form a complete uniform with UTP, SFU Mk2, or BDU Mk2 pants, but it also works well as a standalone garment. Made from Polycotton Stretch Ripstop material (48% cotton, 50% polyester, 2% elastane), the Raid shirt provides lightness, flexibility, and greater freedom of movement. The unique raglan construction, which eliminates shoulder seams, increases comfort, especially when worn under gear or a plate carrier. The Raid shirt is equipped with eight pockets for safe equipment carrying. Two classic chest pockets are fastened with Canadian buttons. Inside the shirt, there are two mesh pockets – one with a zipper and one open, ideal for maps or notebooks. Additionally, there are two pockets on each sleeve that can be closed in two ways: with small Velcro patches or Canadian buttons. This closure system works excellently in various conditions, such as in green tactics where silence is crucial, and in humid climates where Velcro may lose effectiveness. The Raid shirt from Helikon-Tex is inspired by classic military uniforms, with a history dating back to the 1940s. This clothing has evolved over the decades, starting from the M42 parachute uniform used by the US Army during World War II, through the TCU (Tropical Combat Uniform) from the Vietnam War era, to the BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) introduced in the entire US armed forces. The Raid shirt is a modern version of these classic uniforms, with improvements derived from soldiers' experiences.
