Die Trooper MK2 Jacke von Helikon-Tex ist eine verbesserte Version der zuvor hochgelobten Jacke und vereint die Eigenschaften des neuen Trooper und des jüngeren Geschwisters Blizzard. Die Trooper Mk2 ist eine leichte Outdoor-Jacke mit einem praktischen Schnitt und genau angepasster Größenordnung. Dank des leicht elastischen Hauptmaterials schränkt sie die Bewegung nicht ein und eignet sich hervorragend sowohl für taktische Zwecke als auch durch Klettverschlüsse auf den Schultern, die ihre militärische Herkunft betonen. Die neue Version des Trooper präsentiert sich in einem modernen Design und bietet eine komfortablere Passform. Der lockere Schnitt macht die Trooper Mk2 zu einer ausgezeichneten Wahl als äußere Softshell-Schicht, und an kälteren Tagen kann sie unter einer zusätzlichen Schicht wie der Wolfhound Hoodie Jacke getragen werden. Das verwendete Hauptmaterial ist StormStretch®, ein leichtes Nylon mit einem Hauch von Elastan, das Komfort und Bewegungsfreiheit bietet. Es handelt sich um eine leichte Schicht, die vor Kälte und Feuchtigkeit schützt und durch das durchdachte Design einer im Kragen versteckten Kapuze mit geformtem Schirm unterstützt wird, die die Nieren zusätzlich vor dem Wind schützt. Die Trooper Mk2 Jacke zeichnet sich durch gut geplante Taschen aus, die so platziert sind, dass sie nicht mit den Riemen des Rucksacks und dem Hüftgurt kollidieren. Auf der Außenseite befinden sich zwei Brusttaschen mit Organizern, zwei auf den Schultern und eine innere Tasche. Unter Berücksichtigung von Zweck, Gewicht und Trocknungsgeschwindigkeit wurde auf Taschen in Nierenhöhe (sogenannte Wilderer-Taschen) und eine kleine Tasche am Unterarm verzichtet.
