Trooper Pants - StormStretch® by Helikon-Tex are versatile and comfortable outdoor pants made from StormStretch® softshell material. With a lightweight and flexible construction and a relaxed fit, they do not restrict movement, making them an excellent choice for hiking and tactical activities. A belt is included, and the pants pair perfectly with the Trooper Mk2 jacket, forming a functional set. Trooper Pants can be worn alone or combined with Level 1 or Level 2 thermal underwear, providing additional insulation in colder conditions. They can also be worn as a warming layer over other pants.
The Trooper model features six practical pockets:
- Two hip pockets for everyday use.
- Two zippered side pockets for secure storage of small items.
- Two cargo pockets with organizers and zippers, ideal for essential accessories.
Despite their lightweight construction, the pants are reinforced at critical points such as the knees, lower legs, back, and the edges of the front pockets, increasing durability and resistance to abrasion. Long ventilation zippers on the sides ensure excellent airflow, especially useful during intense physical activity. Additionally, the side zippers make it easy to put the pants on over boots, while the dual-direction zippers on the legs allow extra ventilation adjustment.
With the option to use a drawstring or shock cord at the bottom of the legs, you can achieve a gaiter effect, providing extra protection against dirt and snow.
