Templar's Gear URP Universal Radio Pouch – All Available Colours

A radio pouch has to secure the communication device while keeping the antenna, controls and cabling usable. The design therefore focuses on retention without completely enclosing the radio.

MOLLE/PALS mounting allows the pouch to be positioned on a belt, vest or plate carrier according to the user's communication setup. Placement can be chosen to keep the radio accessible without interfering with magazines or arm movement.

Adjustable width, depth or elastic retention, where provided, helps the pouch accommodate different radio bodies and similarly sized communication equipment. This is especially useful when one loadout needs to support more than one device.

Stiffened walls help the pouch keep a stable shape, while shock cord and a top flap can prevent the radio from moving during dynamic activity. At the same time, the top area remains open enough for the antenna and connected cables.

Dimensions should be compared with the specific radio before purchase. A secure fit is preferable to excessive free space, particularly when the pouch is mounted on the outside of a carrier.

The modular format also allows the radio to be moved between different rigs without changing the rest of the communication kit.
