Templar's Gear CIBV Cataphract Integrated Ballistic Vest – All Available Variants

Integrated ballistic carrier built to combine hard rifle plates with extensive soft-armor coverage in one modular MOLLE system. CIBV Cataphract is intended for users who need more protective coverage than a conventional plate-only carrier.

Front and rear sections accept hard ballistic plates in the 25 × 30 cm format and also provide dedicated areas for soft ballistic inserts.

Soft armor can be installed at the front, rear and sides. The cummerbund includes integrated pockets for side soft inserts to expand torso coverage.

Collar and shoulder sections also include soft-armor pockets, giving the platform a path to extend protection beyond the central plate area.

ROC quick-release buckles are fitted to the cummerbund and harness, helping a heavily configured vest open faster than a system relying only on large hook-and-loop closures.

Front buckle-mounted placards use an interface compatible with Templar’s Gear Gen4 CPC/TPC systems so complete magazine or mission panels can be changed as modules.

Laser-cut MOLLE supports magazine, radio, medical and utility pouches directly on the protective platform.

The carrier uses Cordura 500D-based laminate with IRR treatment, supporting a high-coverage system without unnecessary layers of sewn webbing.

Because the vest accepts both hard and soft armor, total weight and mobility depend strongly on the selected protection package.

Plate height, shoulder adjustment and cummerbund tension should be set before all soft-armor sections and pouches are fully loaded so protective panels stay positioned correctly.

Ballistic inserts are separate protective components; the carrier itself does not define the final protection level. Protection depends on the certified inserts installed.
