WindBlock fleece and reinforced panels make this jacket a warm outer or insulating layer for cold conditions.
The main fabric is polyester WindBlock fleece. Its structured construction is designed to reduce heat loss while allowing excess warmth to escape during activity, making the jacket suitable for variable levels of exertion.
Softshell inserts and Oxford reinforcements are used in wear-prone areas. The reinforced shoulder and elbow zones add durability where a fleece layer is most likely to rub against equipment or outer garments.
Two zipped side pockets provide everyday storage, while two sleeve pockets add space for smaller items. Loop panels on the upper-arm pockets allow compatible patches or identifiers to be attached when required.
Elasticated cuffs and an adjustable lower hem help close the jacket around the body. YKK zips are used for the main fastening and pockets.
The jacket can be worn on its own in cool weather or under a heavier shell or parka as an insulating layer. The jacket weighs approximately 830 g.
