The patch measures approximately 3 x 2.5 inches (7.6 x 6.3 cm). The reverse is fitted with hook fastener material, so the patch can be attached without adhesive to suitable loop fields on caps, sleeves, backpacks, organisers, pouches, vests and other compatible equipment.

The PVC construction gives the patch a clean, durable surface that is easy to wipe and does not collect hook material in the same way as conventional embroidery. The removable format makes it easy to rearrange a patch layout or move the same patch between different items without permanently sewing it to each one.

As a morale design, its main purpose is personalisation rather than formal identification. It can be used alone or combined with other patches on tactical and outdoor gear.
