The Helikon-Tex Guardian Cummerbund Polyester Field is a functional set of side panels designed to connect the front and rear sections of a plate carrier. Its universal design allows it to be used with various plate carrier models available on the market.

Durable Construction and Comfort

The panels are made of durable structural mesh, providing good ventilation even when additional equipment is attached. The outer surface features MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing, allowing pouches and tactical accessories to be attached conveniently.

Beneath the modular webbing is a skeletonized panel made of non-slip Hypalon material. It increases the cummerbund’s rigidity, stabilizes carried equipment, and helps keep it securely in place.

The panels attach to the vest using hook-and-loop fasteners. Non-slip Hypalon grips make them easier to handle and allow for quick attachment and removal of the cummerbund.

NIR/IRR Properties – PL Woodland Camouflage

Field series products in PL Woodland camouflage feature NIR (Near Infrared) functionality, also referred to as IRR (Infrared Reflectance).

The materials used help reduce the contrast of the silhouette when viewed in the near-infrared spectrum. Fabrics and components are selected to ensure that their absorption, reflection, and transmission characteristics are as close as possible to those of the natural woodland environment.

The materials undergo laboratory and field testing using a spectrophotometer and analogue night vision devices.
