This roomy panel is designed to expand the functionality of the Spitfire vest i n its first and second versions by adding extra pockets. The panel is mounted on the back using a dedicated zipper system. Its construction is based on the popular Assault Panel from Direct Action, but unlike it, it features an additional sewn-on top pocket. Both pockets are capacious enough to hold a compressed jacket, NODs, additional ammunition, or batteries. They are secured with durable YKK zippers. The top pocket also has a flat upper pocket, a Velcro for patches, and a modular cut system compatible with MOLLE/PALS . The tool panel for the Spitfire MK II from Direct Action is made of durable laminate and Cordura® 500D material. You can choose its color or camouflage from a variety of options to match your vest.
