The Direct Action Halifax Small Backpack, with a capacity of 18 liters, is a more compact version of the HALIFAX® Medium model, while retaining its functionality and reliability. It features a spacious single-compartment layout with a convenient YKK® zipper, ensuring quick access to the contents of the backpack. Soft velour linings on the front and rear walls of the compartment allow for attaching additional accessories or organizers using hook and loop fasteners. The back panel of the backpack is equipped with a MOLLE/PALS system, offering the opportunity to customize the backpack to personal needs and preferences. At the top of the front panel, there is a mesh pocket with a zip closure. Additionally, on the top flap, there are two small zippered pockets. One of them has a velvety finish, perfect for storing delicate items like glasses. Higher up on the flap, there is a large ID panel for attaching patches or IR markers. On the exterior of the backpack, there are also two flat pockets with diagonal zippers. Between them, a vertical "daisy chain" loop system is located, allowing for the attachment of additional items. Moreover, the backpack features a laser-cut modular system on the sides, corresponding to three rows and three columns of the MOLLE/PALS system. Below the modular panels, there are partially elastic pockets for water bottles or canteens, with additional openings for routing the hydration system tube. To provide the user with maximum comfort, the carrying system of the backpack consists of wide shoulder straps, padded with soft foam and covered in smooth softshell material. This evenly distributes the weight, ensuring comfort even with a fully loaded backpack. Additionally, the reinforced back panel and specially shaped spacer pads enhance comfort during wear and promote air circulation. The backpack also comes with a chest strap and a minimalist hip belt, which stabilize the backpack during use, ensuring complete comfort and control.
