Direct Action Dragon Egg MK II Backpack – All Available Variants

Dragon Egg MK II is a medium tactical backpack built around a compact profile and clearly separated storage. With 24.3 l total capacity, it works as a patrol pack, advanced EDC bag or a modular outdoor pack without becoming unnecessarily tall or wide.

Three-zone organisation

The main compartment includes a hydration-bladder pocket and mesh divider, while a rear padded compartment accommodates a laptop up to 15 inches or a multiband radio. A separate front section adds an organiser and mesh pocket for smaller equipment.

Two elastic side pockets hold a 1 l bottle or canteen, and a fleece-lined top pocket keeps eyewear or electronics away from harder gear. The main compartment itself provides 17.7 l of the overall capacity.

Modular exterior and useful attachment points

Laser-cut MOLLE/PALS allows compatible pouches to be added without covering the pack in bulky conventional webbing. A front daisy chain provides additional attachment points, while the side grab handles and paracord top handle give several ways to move or lift the pack.

Ventilated load carrying

The Combat Vent System® back panel uses shaped foam and ventilation channels under breathable mesh. Quick-release shoulder straps and a detachable waist belt let the carrying setup be adjusted to the load and to other worn equipment.

Cordura® 500D construction

The main fabric is 225 g/m² Cordura® 500D with a water-repellent finish; the main textile is 100% nylon with a 100% polyester lining. The pack measures 45 × 18 × 27 cm and weighs 1574 g.
