Mil-Tec® US GI Boonie Hat – All Available Variants

Mil-Tec® US GI Boonie Hat is a classic warm-weather field hat inspired by US military designs. Its wide brim provides shade for the face and neck area and also offers basic protection from light rain, making the model useful for hiking, camping, fishing and general outdoor work.

The fabric combines polyester and cotton in a ripstop weave. Ripstop reinforcement helps limit the spread of small tears, while the cotton component keeps the material comfortable for regular wear. Ventilation eyelets on the sides improve airflow around the head in warmer conditions.

A drawcord allows the one-size hat to be adjusted to the wearer's head, while an additional chin cord helps keep it in place when moving or in windy conditions. Webbing loops running around the crown can hold small pieces of compatible camouflage material when a more field-oriented setup is required.
