The Helikon-Tex Trooper StormStretch® Field Pants are lightweight and durable tactical trousers designed for mobile operations in the field. Their flexible fabric, ergonomic cut and functional features provide freedom of movement and comfort during intensive use.

NIR/IRR Camouflage

Field products in PL Woodland camouflage meet NIR/IRR functionality requirements. The materials help reduce the silhouette’s contrast when viewed through near-infrared devices. Fabrics and components are selected to behave optically in a way that closely resembles the natural woodland environment. Materials are tested both in the laboratory and in the field using a spectrophotometer and analogue night vision devices.

StormStretch® Fabric and Moisture Protection

The lightweight and durable StormStretch® softshell fabric stretches in two directions, adapting to body movements. It offers high abrasion resistance, protection against wind and light rain, and quick-drying properties. The outer water-repellent coating helps limit moisture penetration and dirt buildup, making the trousers easier to maintain and helping preserve their performance during intensive use.

Functional Design

• Adjustable waist and leg openings – hook-and-loop fastening and an elastic waistband insert allow a comfortable fit, while adjustable leg openings help accommodate different footwear.
• Reinforced knees – improve durability when kneeling or moving over rough terrain. Dedicated pockets allow the use of protective knee pads.
• Ventilation and side zippers – long, two-way side zippers allow airflow to be adjusted during physical activity. They also make it possible to put on or remove the trousers without taking off your boots.
• Wide belt loops with attachment loops – help keep the belt stable, while the loops at the front allow small pieces of equipment to be secured with a carabiner or cord.
