The Helikon-Tex Guardian Smallpack Cordura® 500D Field is a compact tactical backpack designed to work with the Guardian Plate Carrier Field. It combines a durable construction, modular design and functional features that allow you to adapt your equipment to the specific requirements of each task.

NIR/IRR Technology – Reduced Visibility in the Infrared Spectrum

Field products in the PL Woodland camouflage pattern use materials with NIR (Near Infrared), also referred to as IRR (Infrared Reflective), properties. These materials help reduce the contrast of the wearer's silhouette when viewed through devices operating in the near-infrared spectrum.

The visible fabrics and components have been selected to ensure that their radiation absorption, reflection and transmission characteristics are as close as possible to those of the natural woodland environment. The materials are tested both in the laboratory and in the field using a spectrophotometer and analogue night vision devices.

Built for Intensive Use

The backpack is made from Cordura® 500D, which provides high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The DWR coating helps limit water absorption and makes the material easier to clean.

Reliable performance is further supported by YKK® zippers and Woojin® components, designed for use in demanding conditions, under heavy loads and across a range of temperatures.

Functional Design and Expandability

Internal Soft Loop Panel

The interior is lined with soft loop material, allowing additional organisers and inserts from the Versatile Insert System (VIS) to be attached for better organisation of carried equipment.

MOLLE/PALS Webbing

Allows the backpack to be expanded with additional pockets, magazine pouches and medical modules, adapting its configuration to individual requirements.

Adjustable Compression Straps

Keep the contents stable while moving and allow the backpack's volume to be adjusted to suit the load.

Bottom Attachment with Elastic Cord

Provides a convenient way to secure an extra layer of clothing or other lightweight equipment for quick access.

Hook-and-Loop Personalisation Panel

The additional panel allows you to attach identification patches, emblems and other markings.

Part of the Modular Guardian System

The Guardian Smallpack is part of Helikon-Tex's proprietary Guardian equipment system, designed to provide a comprehensive gear setup, from belts and plate carriers to chest rigs and backpacks.

Compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS system allows the equipment to be configured and expanded according to the requirements of specific tasks. Individual components are also compatible with the VIS (Versatile Insert System) and Competition insert systems.
