The E&E Pouch Cordura® 500D Field is a classic Helikon-Tex pouch based on a modified design used by British special forces. It is designed to carry survival and bushcraft equipment such as a canteen, food rations and other essential items.
A dedicated sleeve on the back panel provides space for a saw, knife, hatchet or similar tool. The pouch can be attached directly to a belt or integrated with a MOLLE/PALS system, making it suitable for a wide range of gear configurations.
The Field PL Woodland version features NIR/IRR (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective) properties. The materials help reduce the silhouette's contrast when viewed through devices operating in the near-infrared spectrum. All visible fabrics and components are selected to absorb, reflect and transmit radiation in a way that closely resembles the natural woodland environment.
The materials used in Field products are tested both in the laboratory and in the field using a spectrophotometer and analogue night vision devices.
