Direct Action Halifax Medium Backpack® – All Available Variants

The Halifax Medium is a 40-litre modular patrol backpack designed around a large configurable main compartment and extensive attachment space.

Cordura® 500D laminate forms the main construction. The YKK®-zippered compartment is lined with loop fabric and backed by a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel for compatible organisers and pouches.

External laser-cut MOLLE/PALS surfaces provide additional mounting space without covering the pack in conventional sewn webbing.

Two pockets in the lid separate frequently used items, and the upper pocket uses a soft lining for more delicate contents. A loop panel on the exterior provides space for identification.

The carrying system combines padded shoulder straps with a sternum strap and a supportive hip belt. MOLLE/PALS on the hip belt adds further attachment options.

Additional reinforced points on the sides and base support specialised carrying configurations.

The 40-litre main compartment is designed as a configurable space rather than a fixed set of sewn dividers. Loop lining and an internal laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel accept compatible organisers, while additional laser-cut MOLLE/PALS on the outside lets extra pouches be carried without consuming the main internal volume.

The exterior loop panel is reserved for identification rather than load attachment. Keeping identification separate from the laser-cut MOLLE/PALS surfaces leaves the modular mounting areas available for compatible pouches and organisers.
