Direct Action GHOST MK II Backpack – All Available Variants

GHOST MK II is a 33.1-litre tactical backpack designed to organise a larger multi-day load without giving up modularity. The 52 × 18 × 30 cm format combines a 27.5-litre main compartment with several dedicated storage areas and an external attachment system.

Organised main and rear storage

The main compartment provides the largest part of the carrying volume and includes internal organisation. A separate padded rear compartment protects a computer, while a dedicated hydration pocket allows the pack to be configured around a drinking system instead.

A detachable organiser pocket adds another useful layer of storage. It can be removed from the pack and used separately, which is helpful when a smaller set of frequently needed items has to be separated from the main load.

Quick-access pockets and modular expansion

Two stretch side pockets take frequently used items, while a velour-lined top pocket and a flat front pocket keep smaller equipment accessible. The front and sides are covered with laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panels for attaching compatible pouches or accessories where they are needed.

The detachable waist belt also carries MOLLE/PALS slots and can be used independently with the included low-profile Y-harness. This gives the carrying system a second role when the full backpack is not required.

Load handling and ventilation

Wide foam-padded shoulder straps support the load and use quick-release buckles for rapid removal. The back panel incorporates Direct Action's Combat Vent System® with contoured foam channels intended to improve airflow during prolonged wear.

The pack is made from Cordura® 500D. The main fabric is 100% nylon with a 100% polyester lining and a stated fabric weight of 225 g/m². Complete backpack weight is 2229 g.
