The 21.5 x 15.5 cm carbon-steel blade has a smooth edge on one side and a ridged working edge on the other, giving the tool more than one way to work soil. It folds from about 62.5 to 44.5 cm, weighs roughly 780 g, and is supplied with a rubber/polymer protective cover fitted with ALICE-style clips.
